The dragon boat Tweam is comprised of individual paddlers, worldwide, that want to compete in the races with like minded enthusiasts. Think of it as a dragon boat Paddles Up Tweet Up!

To be a member of The Weekly Newspapers Tweam:

1. 1.You must follow both @battleinthebay and @josiekwweekly on Twitter
   

2. 2.You must be at least 18 years old to be on the Tweam.
   

3. 3.Direct message either @battleinthebay or @josiekwweekly with your email address to receive a message to tweet.
   

4. 4.The first 20 paddlers and one (1) drummer (steersperson provided for tweam) that we see tweeting the message qualify for a seat on the Tweam. (hint:tweet often) Your tweet must include @battleinthebay AND @josiekwweekly
   

5. 5.We will send you an email notifying you that you’ve qualified for the Tweam.
   

6. 6.We will maintain a waiting list after the first 21 qualifiers
   

7. 7. FREE to enter the races - team registration fee is paid for by The Weekly Newspapers
   

8. 8.FREE accommodations provided by Florida Keys Rentals for Friday, May 7th and Saturday, May 8th
   

9. 9.You must confirm your arrival time and provide contact information with the Battle In The Bay Team Coordinator no later than April 9th. If you do not confirm the next person on the waiting list qualifies for the Tweam. 
   

10. 10.You must be able to attend the Tweam practice on Friday, May 7th at 6:00 pm
    

11. 11.You are responsible for your own travel expense (see American Airline and AirTran discount info)
