Race organizers are proud to facilitate a community spirit by including local non-profit organizations in the fundraising possibilities through Battle In The Bay. A portion of this year’s event proceeds benefits Reef Relief, a global nonprofit membership organization dedicated to preserving and protecting living coral reef ecosystems. Every dragon boat team is encouraged to gather pledges for a charity of their choice with a grand prize awarded for the highest amount of money raised by an individual.
